ANNIVERSARY GALA - NOVEMBER 6, 1999 |

This distinguished evening of
food, entertainment and dance is sure to be fondly remembered forever by all who attended.
The cocktails and delicious catered dinner was provided by the Inn at Roscoe Village. The
entertainment... "A Fiftieth Anniversary Musical Medley" was arranged
specifically for this event by Kevin S. Foster and performed by several
Footlight Players. Lifetime Achievement Awards were presented to Sam Clow,
Jim Gauerke and Bettsy Gauerke for their dedication
which now spans six decades. The evening continued with dancing and great fellowship. The
Fiftieth Anniversary Commeration Committee and Golden Anniversary Gala Committee prepared
this event in most outstanding fashion. A very special "Thank you!" goes to the anonymous
benefactor whose generous contribution not only made the Fiftieth Anniversary
Gala possible, but also helped to underwrite the cost of The First Fifty Years of the
Footlight Players book, which made its debut that night. |
