This heartwarming comedy follows the marriage of Agnes (Ellen Hardesty) and Michael (Brad Fuller) through 35 years of marriage. It features a spectrum of familiar aspects of marriage... rags to riches, the joys and pitfalls of having children, egotistical sparring matches and most of all, the healing power of love. The charm of "The Fourposter" has lasted through several incarnations. The original Agnes and Michael were portrayed by Jessica Tandy and Hume Cronyn. Rex Harrison and Lili Palmer played Agnes and Michael in the movie. The musical version, "I Do, I Do", starring Mary Martin and Robert Preston. Each of these versions enjoyed tremendous success.
