DEARLY BELOVED

The Futrelle Sisters, Frankie, Honey Raye and Twink, are throwing a wedding. Frankie has almost made herself sick with elaborate preparations for her daughter Tina Jo's antebellum-inspired wedding, and the rumor mill in their small town of Fayro, Texas, is working overtime. No surprise there; the Futrelle Sisters have never been strangers to gossip. After all, they did survive the scandalous breakup of their almost- famous gospel singing trio, The Sermonettes. Tina Jo's identical twin sister, Gina Jo, tries to hold things together as the big day arrives and Frankie's plans begin to unravel. Twink is desperate to get her boyfriend of fifteen-and-one-half years to the altar; Honey Raye arrives in skin-tight gold lame, and Frankie converses with the sisters' dead mother but gets no answers. The cantankerous wedding planner, Miss Geneva, who runs the local florist shop/bus depot has some ideas of her own as well. Then there are the issues of the missing minister and the protesting mother of the groom. And why are the guests bringing covered dishes? There are surprises in store as this wedding takes some unexpected twists and turns and Fayro, Texas, will never be quite the same again.
